CES 2019 taking AI, VR to next level along with voice-powered smart home products

CES 2019 kicked off in Las Vegas, which is the world’s biggest consumer electronics trade show and this year we are thrilled to see where the ‘smart’ products and their integration would be leading us to. A lot of products in the area of AI are being unveiled in a tradeshow that is covered by over 250,000 square meters, hosting over 1200 startups and 4500 exhibitors from around the globe.

Major South Korean brands like Samsung, LG and SK Telecom are showcasing their offerings in the mega event going on. A teaser released to spice up the thirst for this event shared,

“These include brand new applications for AI and IoT, new ways to make AI do more as well as new devices that place AI and IoT at the center of users’ connected lives,”

LG is ready to bring forward its 8K OLED panels offered through 65-inch and 88-inch variants while a lot of companies are focusing on to present their smart voice-controlled products. A senior research guy in Euromonitor International Korea known for its market researches shared in a statement,

“Last year’s attempts that connected people’s life with voice assistants will develop into a concrete picture of the smart home where those smart devices are predicted to understand consumers’ daily life patterns and provide customized services,”

Samsung and LG are competing to take up that premium spot when it comes to the best global brand manufacturing world’s biggest and highest quality TVs. Samsung is pulling the curtains off from its quantum-dot light-emitting diode TV offering 8K resolution while LG is making its move through the 8k organic light-emitting diode TV technology.

Likewise, other brands like Royole from China is grabbing attention by showcasing the world’s first foldable display smartphone named FlexPai. SK Group’s affiliate is part of the show as well having their eyes set on the growth of a business when it comes to the 5G era together with media access and its mobility.

Then, there are companies showcasing their work in the self-driving car field with a system that works as ‘eyes’ of the car. Primarily, the five key emerging markets to be seen at the event would be including 5G, AI and car automation. A lot of car manufacturers are presenting their autonomous cars while a major step up is experienced in AI and its implementation in real-world scenarios. Likewise, augmented reality would be seen working through a variety of implementations like helping workers to better absorb the information and surrounds around them.

Other industries like blockchain technology, cybersecurity, medical related products and so much more is currently happening at the world's biggest consumer electronics show that is going CES 2019 would be lit for any tech lover.
