LG has already confirmed that it will launch its next-generation G-series flagship device, the LG G8 ThinQ- at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 event that is scheduled to take place in Barcelona later this month. The Korean electronics giant has stated that it will unveil its first 5G phone in February in Barcelona.
Now according to reports, LG will also unveil the LG K12 Plus during the event. Rumours suggest that the LG K12 Plus will come with 3GB of RAM and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It will have an HD+ screen with 720 x 1,440 pixels resolution and a screen density of 280 DPI. The phone will be the successor to the LG K11+ and is expected to be powered by MediaTek MT6762 processor. The LG K12 Plus will have notch less screen with the earpiece and the front camera housed in the top bezel. The phone is likely to sport large bezels on the top and bottom as well as narrow bezels on the sides.
LG is going to launch the G7 ThinQ successor in Barcelona later this month. The company has already confirmed that the upcoming LG G8 ThinQ smartphone will come with a Time-of-Flight sensor which will click excellent selfie portraits, and will also increase the accuracy of its 3D face scanning system.
Under the hood, the phone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with 6GB RAM and 2TB memory card. The phone will have sound-on-display technology and will come with a secondary attachable screen.
