Rumours about the OPPO Find Z have been surfacing for a while now, in spite of the launch of the Find X last year. A new rumour had surfaced a few weeks back that the company’s next flagship series will be called the Find Z. However, OPPO’s vice-president Shen Yiren Brian, has dismissed the rumour and stated that the company plans to continue with the X-series.
OPPO’s vice-president Shen Yiren Brian hinted on the social network Weibo that the company is not planning to launch any product with the Z moniker as of now. He referred to the Find X smartphone launched last year and stated that the company’s Find series in now the Find X series.
Oppo has changed the name of the Find series to the Find X series, and the last model launched by the company was the Oppo Find 7 in 2014 in the Find series. Since then, there have been a number of rumours that the next flagship device would be the Find Z, however, the company had released the Find X instead last year. Since the series is now known as Find X, so the next model in the series could be called the Find X2. OPPO had hinted earlier that it plans to launch a Snapdragon 855 device this year and according to rumours it could be the Find X2.
