Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be hosting a launch event at the end of the month to launch the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite smartphones. Now according to reports the company is also planning to launch the Huawei 20i and MagicBook 2019 in China on April 17, 2019.
Honor has now released a video teaser on its Weibo account and teased the launch of a new mid-range smartphone. The video teaser states that the company will be launching the Honor 20i on April 17. The teaser hasn’t revealed many details regarding the Honor 20i, and will have a water-drop notch with 32MP AI selfie camera.
No other details are available about the Honor 20i, so we don’t know the specifications or the pricing of the upcoming smartphone. Rumours suggest that the phone will be a Chinese version of the Honor 20 Lite which is expected to go official on April 25. It is possible that the company may be launching the phone first in China with a different name before its official launch as the Honor 20 Lite. The company had launched the Huawei P30 Lite in China as the Huawei Nova 4e days a few days ahead of the global launch of the P30 Lite.
Honor has also posted a separate teaser about the launch of the Honor MagicBook which will arrive as the Honor MagicBook 2019. The company has not given any other specifications or pricing details of the upcoming notebook.
