Amazon to hold hardware event on September 25, expect new Alexa-powered devices

12 September 2019 0

Amazon is holding a hardware event on September 25 and it has already sent media invites for the same. The invitation hasn’t dropped even a single hint that could tell what’s coming or what the event could be about. The only thing we all know is, it’s going to be a hardware event. So, expect to learn about more Alexa-powered smart devices and something from the Fire TV segment as well.

Recently, the company launched a dozen of Fire TV Edition products at IFA 2019 event in Berlin, including a Fire TV Cube, OLED Fire TV. So, we expect new things to follow the same direction with some common features as well. It’s quite hard to tell what exact products Amazon has planned to present on the stage of its event, but we are excited to know more about it.

The products it brought at the biggest trade show looked quite promising. It even made a few of them available for pre-order right away. So, it’s unlikely that Amazon will re-introduce the in its special dedicated hardware event. However, we may get to see some of the non-highlighted one products that weren’t much pronounced at the IFA.

Alexa-powered devices are growing and expecting more to be announced during the event isn’t surprising. Some of the newest and best Amazon Alexa smart devices from this year are Ring Door View Cam, Ecobee Smart Thermostat, Echo Show 5 Smart display and more. So we don’t only expect to see the refreshes to them but also some other products, maybe with some more partnerships, but Amazon event has been an annual showcase of first-party Amazon hardware, so we ignore the latter case.

Let’s not predict anything we don’t know about and rather wait for the event to come.
