OnePlus entering CES with its "Special Event" for the first time

14 December 2019 0

OnePlus has a “special event” to conduct at the biggest Consumer Electronics Show in January 2020. This marks the first time that the company will host an event at such a major global trade exhibition. The media invites have already been sent but the invitation doesn’t reveal anything, so we are left with some guesswork only.

The only thing you would see mentioned on the invitation is “OnePlus Special Event” with a date of schedule which starts from January 7th and going to end on January 10 in Las Vegas. Again, it is unknown if OnePlus is conducting a one day or a multi-day exhibit. Well, whatever it is, we are excited to know about the same and unable to curb our curiosity.

The invitation’s background looks similar to the color hues present on the McLaren-inspired OnePlus 7T Pro 5G, so we assume something related to the phone or the phone itself will be showcased.

The CES 2020 event is going to be circulated around the 5G and its applications, connected products, and more. So, we suspect OnePlus could share its 5G plans or devices. While there is no substantial proof to take the support of, we believe that OnePlus may take advantage of the biggest event and re-introduce its first-ever 5G smartphone OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition.

Earlier this month, T-Mobile introduced its 600MHz low-band 5G with the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren device. Several journalists were given the handset to test the latest 5G network on T-Mobile. It is possible that OnePlus is planning a wider expansion with its McLaren 5G Edition. The initial 5G reception via the McLaren Edition has been great and those who have used it are happy to get the consistent speeds over the 5G networks working over mmWave technology.

OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition with its powerful specifications has proved its worth when it comes to experiencing the latest 5G network. So, we assume, OnePlus could brag more about its device on T-Mobile for further recognition.

Needless to say, we are just assuming as nothing else is provided yet. It could be possible that the company will introduce something different that we are not aware of.

We don’t assume any smartphones to launch at this time as the company has already made available many this year.
