Samsung used Galaxy S20 to shoot and stream its Unpacked 2020 event | Report

The first biggest smartphone launch event of this year, the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 is done now where we saw the new Galaxy S-series getting unveiled. The Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and the S20 Ultra 5G are the new beautiful and powerful smartphones that have been introduced with impressive features for a new dominance in the smartphone world. They are packed with some beefy camera specifications, including the capability to produce content in 8K, and much more.

Apart from the 5G connectivity, the camera system was another highlight of the device that Samsung took special attention to. The whole event circulated more around the cameras because the “camera is the single-most-important feature for consumers purchasing a new smartphone,” as per Samsung. This is why Samsung didn’t impress you just theoretically by talking about the camera features of the Galaxy S20 series, rather, it actually did more than that.

According to SamMobile, the whole Unpacked 2020 event hosted in San Francisco was shot and live-streamed worldwide using the Galaxy S20. The tech site has also shared a couple of images in which the Galaxy S20 can be seen mounted on special types of equipment. The members of the camera crew who were shooting the unveiling of the new phones at the event were reportedly handed the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The images show there were some heavy gimbals or mounts that offered easy handling to the camera crew, apart from making the video more stable.

The press conference was live-streamed in Full HD (1080p) resolution on YouTube and the video appeared clear and bright enough.

Samsung already offers its Galaxy S-series and Note-series phones to some media publications so that they could do the regular coverage. But the complete streaming of its own event has just leveled up the whole game. Several manufacturers brag about the cameras of their new launches but only Samsung looks to have struck the right chord. It didn’t just talk about the cameras with excessive pride but also showcased their prowess impressively because the real ability is known by the real-life results.
