    Allowing third-party launchers create issue issues for customer service, while users demanded allowing the third-party launchers to be installed and Huawei had to roll back the update. This is really a catch 22 situation for Huawei.

    Actually, even customers should see the bigger picture - do they want more customization or better service from the company.

    Well, Huawei might as well have rolled back the update, but looks like they won't be entertaining the customers much. No third-party launcher installations possible from EMUI 9 now.
