    WhatsApp testing in-notification video play back feature for iOS

    WhatsApp is testing a new feature for iOS. Users will now be able to watch videos direct from the notification panels when receiving a video on WhatsApp. As of now, there is no news on when or if this feature will make its way to Android.

    I really doubt the very first sentence. Is WA really looking for ways? Then why isn't it a standalone app like Telegram? Why do I keep my phone connected to my PC for accessing the app on the web?

    The PiP mode was a boon for people watching YT videos on WhatsApp. No need to open the video in YouTube.

    And now it's turning even better. No need to even open the app. Watching the video directly in the push notifications.....
