    It's a beginning of a new 8K era in the world of TVs now. 2019 is there for sure. The affordability is what the potential buyers will keep a watch on.

    But with the likes Samsung and now TCL entering this particular 8K arena, at least 2020 should be the year where you can see affordable price brackets for these devices.

    The availability of the content too will play a role. It was something we were talking about 4K last year, isn't it?

    $2000 and above or at least thereabout. But with rising competition, that too shall fall.
