    Even in 2019, almost every other phone comes with a dual rear camera setup. 3 years down the line, three rear camera sensors for at least half the phones may really not be an exaggeration.

    That's an estimate as to what may happen in the next 2-3 years. But on second thoughts, a brand like Google Pixel still doesn't even have a dual rear camera setup.

    But that might not last long. Already Pixel needs to push its sales. Even if software optimization can do the trick, yet, more sensors definitely will be a key.

    And these days when even affordable phones are coming out with such a camera setup, Google will have no option but to go for the kill.
