A new Apple TV 4K has long been into the rumors and if we consider the latest tip from a leaker, the product may get launched sooner. Going by what is tipped by the leaker, the all-new Apple TV 4K will equip the A12X processor and come in two storage variants – 64GB/128GB.
The codename of this new Apple 4K TV is Neptune T1125 and the company could launch it anytime soon, as per the leaker.
The notable leaker shared no other details, but according to one of his replies to the followers on Twitter, design-wise the new Apple TV 4K is going to look similar to its predecessor.
Currently, the Apple A12X chip appears to be the only big upgrade coming to the new Apple TV 4K. The A12X chip debuted on the first-generation 11-inch iPad Pro back in October 2018. The existing Apple TV 4K model has the A10X chip. Apple might have done chipset upgrade due to more processing power demanding content like Arcade games.
The launch of the new Apple TV is already expected and its upgrade has been in the rumor mill for some time. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg also shared a list of Apple products launching by 2021 and Apple TV was also on that list. Now, the tip from another tipster that has a pretty good track record on Apple reports comes as corroboration.
Let’s see when Apple decides to launch the new Apple TV 4K. Apple recently surprised by launching the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, iPhone SE (2020).
