If you are a PUBG fan and also happens to be a PlayStation (PS) gamer, you must have been keeping an eye on all the news and reports related to the arrival of the title on the Sony PS4 consoles. Your wait is finally coming to an end as Sony has now officially announced the PUBG for PS4 will debut on December 7th.
It means the Xbox One exclusivity of PUBG is all set to end since its release on the platform last year. This suggests that Microsoft might have had an exclusive deal with the game publishers for a period of one year. Nevertheless, PUBG is finally all set to arrive on the PlayStation platform within a couple of weeks from today. And the best part is that you can pre-order the game now.
PUBG for PS4 has a total of four editions with only one of them available on disk and rest being digital downloads. Here are the details for each of the editions:
- Disc Edition with base game for $29.99
- Looter's Digital Edition with base game for $29.99
- Survival's Digital Edition with the base game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 2300 G-Coin pack, and 20,000BP for $59.99
- Champion's Digital Edition with the base game, Survival Pass: Vikendi, 6000 G-Coin pack, and 20,000BP for $89.99
Vikendi is a new snow-themed map for PUBG which will arrive in near future. This will be the fourth map in the game in addition to existing Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok maps. While PUBG for PS4 will essentially be similar to its PC and Xbox One counterparts, there will be a few exclusive rewards for those pre-order the game on the platform.
The pre-order benefits include an exclusive Nathan Drake Desert Outfit skin which is inspired by the Nathan Drake character from the widely popular Uncharted franchise. There will also be an exclusive Ellie's backpack which is inspired by The Last of Us game's character of Ellie. Both these rewards will become available on the day when the game will become playable but there are instantly usable rewards as well. These include The Unknown avatar for PSN profile and an exclusive PUBG theme for the background.
