Microsoft has released an updated version of its Wireless Display app with the ability to stream content from PC to Xbox One. It means users can now choose to play their favorite PC games on Xbox One without any hassles. It even supports Xbox controllers for a better gameplay experience.
The updated Wireless Display app makes use of Miracast technology for streaming functionality. A user will need to install the app on his PC as well as Xbox One gaming console. Once a connection between the two machines is established, there will be an option to start streaming. It supports games installed via Steam as well as any other platform or method.
Since it is basically streaming content from PC to Xbox One, it is not restricted to games. It can be used for streaming anything that is on your PC except Netflix. The only thing to keep in mind that once you stream the content on Xbox One, you can navigate it only using the controller. The app does not feature support for keyboard and mouse input yet.
If you are interested, click the source link below to download the application and start streaming. It is worth mentioning that streaming can also be started by using the shortcut Win key + P on your laptop/PC.

The meat of the story is Xbox One allows you to use the controllers too. It's just not only about streaming!
And as of now, it's all about the controllers. No mouse of keyboard input! Though, I don't think the upgrade might be far when it allows that too.
