Google Hangouts is one of the most used videos calling tools which many utilize via a plugin on Google Chrome browsers through the plugin lost their support on Firefox when the widely used browser dropped its support for web plugins which became a huge problem for the Hangouts users on Firefox browser.
In addition, Firefox also dropped the support for Flash besides plugins in March though finally, tech giant Google has brought Google Hangouts back to Firefox utilizing the WebRTC technology for video and audio calls which means that the users won’t have to install any plugin and the service would be available directly.
Serge Lachapelle, who is the product manager at Google mentioned that the feature was only available for the consumers and would be coming to Hangout Meet soon. Meet is a video conference app that the company secretly launched a while back which targets the businesses helping users bringing in 30 people in the conference at a time.
