Earlier this year, we heard reports about Google's plans to bring smart replies to all messaging apps including instant messengers. The goal behind the idea is simple which is to make it easier and faster for users to send replies for commonly sent texts. As a result, it released an experimental app named Reply which allows anyone to take benefit of smart replies and save some time while doing so.
If you have been wondering how you can get Google's Reply app and how to use it, this tutorial guide is for you. It is a very easy-to-follow guide and within only a few minutes, you will be able to make most of the app. Let's get started.
Step 1: Grab the latest Google Reply app APK and sideload on your Android device.
Step 2: Launch the app and sign-in using your Google account. Grant notification access permission which is necessary for the app to work.
Step 3: Choose the app(s) for which you would like the Reply app to show smart reply suggestions. You can also choose to enable location access permission if you would like the app to offer precise suggestions for location-related texts.
Step 4: You don't actually have to do anything except for waiting for a message to arrive from any of the apps selected by you. Once that happens, you will be able to see smart reply suggestions in the notification. Tapping on any of the suggestions will send it as a reply from you without you having to open the app and typing it manually.
This way, you can keep using the Reply app to get automatic smart reply suggestions based on the messages you receive. If you wish to change any of the app's settings or delete your account, you can do so by launching the app and visiting app settings.
