Pixel and Pixel 2 gets Pixel 3 camera app, available on Google Play

23 October 2018 4

Google Pixel 3 camera is surely one of the best ones in the market offering tons of neat features. This doesn’t mean that Google would make the Pixel 2 and Pixel (the first one) smartphone owners felt left behind, so the tech giant is releasing Pixel 3 camera app to the aforementioned models from the previous years.

If you happen to have any of these i.e Pixel 2 or Pixel around you, you could utilize the latest Pixel 3 camera features. The app is made available on the Google PlayStore for these phones which you could download and get the best out of it. This very update also includes a very handy long press gesture that helps users long press the screen, launching the Google Lens.

Currently, the support for two features like Top Shot and Photobooth aren’t available which we expect to be released for older devices, later down the road as well. The new update offers improved usability with the support of multiple swipe gesture to access features and settings. Pixel 2 and Pixel would also get Night Sight feature through this update as well. It’s interesting to note how Google isn’t leaving the older phones behind and this would surely give a fresh breeze to the Pixel 2 and Pixel owners.
