Google Home app now empowers users to control smart bulb colors

01 March 2019 2

Google consistently brings new updates to Google Home app bringing greater control to the smart home ecosystem. Now in the recent update, the app brings the capability to control the colors of your smart blubs in your home. In case smart home is a fiction to you, Google Home brings the bookish fiction of controlling home electronics through mobile with the ease of few gestures and taps is now a reality.

We could control smart speakers, IP cameras, smart switches, smart lights that are compatible with Google Home ecosystem. For example, if you own Xiaomi Mi Smart Bedside lamp, you could control its operations and also change its brightness.

Now the latest update would also empower users to change the colors of a bulb supporting this feature. These colors variations would be predetermined depending upon the colors that the ecosystem offers. While not many would find this a great deal, it’s interesting to see where smart Home technology is heading to empower us in times to come.

Do you find this an empowerment or a technology that would lead humans motory movements to malfunction? Let us know in the comment section below.
