All of Google and Pixel fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming mid-range smartphones which have been appearing in leaks quite often. There is a new report sharing a few more details about the Pixel 3a, younger sibling of the Pixel 3a XL, which will also be the most affordable in the lineup.
The report is coming from reliable German publication WinFuture as it talks about a new Pixel 3a color and starting price point. It mentions that there will be a third color called Iris. It will actually be purple-ish in appearance and will be a first for the Pixel lineup. This new color is in addition to the previously reported Black and White color variants.
As for the pricing, the report claims that the Pixel 3a with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will cost €450. It does make it clear that there is no surety regarding this pricing information. It means it could end up being completely inaccurate but it does seem reasonable. If this is true, then we can expect Pixel 3a XL to be somewhat around €500 or €520 for the base model.
With Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, Google is hoping to bring Pixel user experience to those users who can't afford to buy the premium flagships. They will be getting superior camera quality, stock Android, and regular updates for a relatively lower price. This looks intriguing for sure but we will have to until the official release to see if these phones will be worth spending money on.
