Google has announced a new Back to School program under which it is offering free YouTube Premium for a period of three months to students. The offer also includes three months of free YouTube Music Premium but you can avail only one of the two benefits per account.
It is worth noting that Google's offer is only for new subscribers which means if you have already used your free trial, you are not eligible for this one. All new users need to subscribe to YouTube Premium ($6.99 per month) or YouTube Music Premium ($4.99 per month) depending on their preference. Regardless of what service you choose, you will get three months of free trial instead of the usual one month.
It is said to be a limited time offer but Google has not announced a deadline yet. This is the reason we would suggest you act fast if you want to get the benefits. The offer is available only in select markets and can be availed by visiting this webpage. We have no details which select markets are those but you can visit the aforementioned URL to see if the offer shows up for you.

Both YouTube Music and YouTube Music Premium are paid music streaming services with a slight difference. The first one offers all of YouTube music content including YouTube Originals without any ads and with the ability to download videos as well as use the app in the background. As for the second one, it is pretty music restricted to YouTube music content and does not let you download videos.
