Google has announced a new Gmail feature that will make it easier to forward emails. It has added support for sending emails as attachments within an email. This new feature eliminates the need for downloading them first and thus making the whole process a lot more convenient.
Gmail's new feature further makes it faster and easier to forward multiple emails at once and even to multiple recipients. It will be made available to all users in a gradual manner and is expected to be completed within 15 days. Google says once this feature becomes available for you, you will see a new Forward as attachment option after clicking the three-dot icon.
Another way of using the email attachment functionality is to select emails you want to share and then drag and drop to the mail compose window. You can also select multiple emails that will be shared at the same time. Google has said that all attached emails will be shared as .eml files and each of them will open in a separate window.
It is worth noting that this new Gmail feature is a result of the server-side change. It means if you have not received it already, you should keep waiting as there is no way for enabling it manually. It will be enabled by default as and when it will become available for you.
