In the galore of the issues associated with Pixel 4, a speck of something refreshing is really inviting and that is what we are seeing, thanks to a benchmark listing.
The Google Pixel 4 has been spotted on the Geekbench database and according to the listing, the device is running the yet-to-come Android R. If the listing turns out true, this could be marked as one of the first mentions of the next major Android operating system. Needless to say, we should take this with a pinch of salt as this is quite an early appearance of the device running the yet-to-be-talked-about Android R.
Just like the current scenario, Google could end up addressing it the Android 11 OS. But noting the reference used to make earlier, the next version of the major operating system could continue to be called Android R until the introduction of the final build.
Unfortunately, the Geekbench offers no other information that needs attention. It is just the Snapdragon 855-powered Pixel 4 with 6GB RAM, so there is nothing that could pose as a major take away after the surprising Android R.
If this is the real appearance, we will start to hear more about the operating system in the coming days or weeks. So, just curb your patience till then.
