Apple MacBook Pro, Apple TV, HomePod, and more products will still launch in 2020, well if we go by a report from Bloomberg. COVID-19 has done some serious damages to the major industries, including the tech, and, Apple is not untouched from this wreck. The pandemic may have done severe damage to Apple’s business as well, but the company has some positive hopes that it will come back to the form, at least, by the end of this year.
A new report from Bloomberg that dives deep into the work-from-home culture at Apple, states how Apple is managing everything amid Coronavirus.
the work from home task couldn’t stop Apple to move forward and that’s how it still has plans to release new versions of the HomePod, Apple TV, MacBook Pro, Pad, Apple Watch, iMac, and iPhone by the end of this year.
Looking at the current scenario of California, where Apple is headquartered, it is not easy to guess what will be the circumstances by the end of this year. California governor recently issued a state-wide ‘stay at home’ order for everyone in an effort to fight against the deadliest disease. But Apple is not stopping by any means, even if it has to distribute its work between employees working at home.
Reportedly, Apple has ordered its employees to work from home, this means the workers are carrying sensitive information. According to Bloomberg,
As part of the work-from-home order, Apple has clamped down on which employees are allowed to take home future versions of software, including the next release of iOS, the platform that runs the iPhone and iPad. Like with hardware, employees working on unreleased software, such as the upcoming iOS 14, require approval from the highest levels of the organization, the people said.
Reportedly, Apple has sent a memo to employees stressing the importance of keeping confidential information secure while working remotely. Apple has also provided its employees the bare necessities, like desks and even other types of equipment so that they are able to work securely.
Whether you're working at home or at the office, it's always critical to keep confidential work confidential. While working remotely, use the same care and always securely store confidential items and documents when not in use.
If the report is true, Apple looks quite serious in launching its new products at the scheduled timeframe even if there is so much difficulty around.
