Download GTA V for PC free via Epic Games Store [limited-time]

15 May 2020 0

Ever since Fortnite creator Epic Games released its own store for PC games called Epic Games Store, it has been offering select titles for free every week. It has now announced this week's free game is none other than Grand Theft Auto V aka GTA V that has been one of the best-selling games of all-time.

Anyone will be able to download GTA V for PC free via Epic Games Store starting May 15th. This limited-time sale will be live until May 21st i.e. next Thursday. Even though there is enough time for people to add the game to their library, the popularity of the game is so huge that Epic Games Store ran into issues soon after the sale went live. These issues included server getting down, extended loading times, and other site errors. The good thing is that the team has fixed these issues to ensure smooth user experience.

If you are wondering how you can download GTA V for free, the first step is to visit the Epic Games Store and log-in using a valid account. A user can even use the same account details that he uses for playing Fortnite. Those who are completely new to the platform or simply want a separate account, they can always register for a new account.

After a successful log-in, you will be able to see free GTA V promotion right on the home page. The game can also be searched manually using the search bar. The next step is to add the game to the shopping cart and check out without paying anything. The game will get added to the library where it will be yours to keep forever.
