Razer has showcased two concept products during the CES 2021 presentation. These include a face mask featuring RGB and claimed to be the world's smartest face mask. The second concept is of a gaming chair bundled with a 60-inch display. Let's have a look at these concepts in detail.
Razer has officially named the face mask concept Project Hazel. The idea behind the project is to make a mask that not only helps users stay healthy but also is also environment friendly. The latter part makes sense considering that masks end up getting disposed of and with everyone using one, it can have a serious effect on our environment.
The conceptual mask will offer N95 medical-grade respirator protection to users. There will be active ventilators that can be recharged as well as detached from the mask whenever needed. The Smart Pods will be capable of regulating airflow for optimal breathability. Its filters are claimed to be capable of filtering out 95% of airborne particles.
One of the things that will make the Project Hazel smart mask stand out is transparency. It will help others to see the mask wearer's facial expressions like laughing and smiling. Razer says it will specifically be useful for hard of hearing as they will be able to read the lips of the other person. The best part is that the mask will automatically enable interior lighting so that all those things work even when there is dark or external light is low.
The mask will be powered by the new Razer VoiceAmp Technology that will amplify the mask wearer's voice using internal microphones and an amplifier. This will ensure that others can listen to you clearly. There is a wireless fast charging box that can also be used for sanitizing the mask using in-built ultraviolet radiation emission. And yes, the Razer mask also has RGB lighting because it is a Razer product after all.
Project Brooklyn is the name for the Razer gaming chair concept. It is a chair made up of carbon fiber and is everything that you would expect a state-of-the-art gaming chair to be. There is also RGB lighting because that's what many look for in a gaming product.
The main highlight of the gaming chair is that it has a 60-inch rollout OLED display. The seat has tactile feedback built-in and its 4D armrests can turn into adjustable peripheral tables. Razer says that the chair will offer a completely immersive gaming experience through its cockpit-style seating arrangement.
