OnePlus has finally ventured into the monitor market with the launch of two new models in India. These are called OnePlus Monitor X 27 and the OnePlus Monitor E 24. The first one is a premium offering with high-end features and the second one is more of a budget offering. Let's have a detailed look at each of these.
OnePlus Monitor X 27
The OnePlus Monitor X 27 is a premium gaming monitor featuring a 27-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS display. The anti-glare panel has a 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, 1ms response time, 350 nits typical brightness, 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, VESA DisplayHDR 400, and 178-degree viewing angle. There is AMD FreeSync Premium certification for variable refresh rate support when used with AMD GPUs.
The monitor has three-side minimal bezels and is made up of metal. There is an adjustable stand so that it can be used at different angles like pivot, full tilt, and rotation. It further has the following viewing modes: Standard mode, Movie mode, Game mode, Picture mode, and Web mode. The connectivity options include a USB Type-C port for charging (65W support), an HDMI port, a DisplayPort, two USB 3.0 ports, and a headphone jack.
OnePlus priced the 27-inch Monitor X at INR 27,999 (about $338) in India. It will go on sale starting December 15th via the official OnePlus India website.
OnePlus Monitor E 24
As for the OnePlus Monitor E 24, it has a 24-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with up to 75Hz refresh rate. The panel offers a 5ms response time, 250 nits of typical brightness, 178-degree viewing angle, and anti-glare support. It supports Adaptive Sync technology for adjusting the refresh rate based on the content.
It has a USB Type-C port (18W charging), an HDMI port, a VGA port, and a headphone jack. Even though the monitor is not as premium as the X 27, it also has a metal build. OnePlus is yet to share pricing and availability details.
