Redmi also launched the Redmi Smart Display 8 during the same event where it unveiled the Redmi K30 Pro. The smart display from Redmi comes as the latest addition to the company’s smart home devices. The Redmi Smart Display 8 comes with a built-in HD camera as well for video calling with support for multi-device calls. The smart display also supports popular video platforms in China and has a custom kids mode. It contains kids-focused content and further offers child face recognition.
The built-in Bluetooth gateway allows Bluetooth-enabled devices to connect with one touch. You can control thousands of smart devices using Smart Display 8. You can control several IoT products such as security cameras, other speakers, and more using touch screens, voice commands, or even hand gestures.
The price of the Redmi Smart Display 8 is CNY 349 ($49) and will be available for crowdfunding on Xiaomi's official channels in China from March 27th.
