Huawei has launched a new smart TV with a pop-up camera in China. The all-new Smart Screen X65 is a flagship device that features a 65-inch 4K HDR OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a MEMC chip as well for an overall smoother experience while you watch your favorite content on it.
The Huawei Smart Screen X65 has support for DC dimming which means it can automatically adjust the brightness of the display according to the ambient environment. DC dimming lowers the actual amount of power going to the display at lower brightness levels so that it doesn’t impact the battery life. Note that this feature has no effect at high brightness levels.
The Smart Screen X65 has a 24.9mm ultra-thin all-aluminum allow body. It has a 24MP AI pop-up camera with an ultra-wide lens. The smart screen comes with AI features for tracking the person and light sensor and is powered by Huawei’s latest HONGHU 898 quad-core SoC designed for OLED screens. It has 75W 14 array speakers and connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 / 5GHz) 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, HDMI 2.0 x 4; HDMI-ARC x 1, USB 3.0 x 2; Ethernet port x 1 (Gigabit).
The Huawei Smart Screen X65 comes in Starry Gray color and is priced at 25999 yuan ($3537). It will go on sale in China from April 26th and pre-orders are already up.
Together with this, Huawei also introduced a V55i smart screen with a 55-inch 4K screen and a 1080p popup camera, HONGHU 818 at 3799 yuan ($537) for 4GB and 32GB version and 3999 yuan ($567) for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version. This will be available in China from April 15th.
