Honor V6 tablet brings 2K display, Kirin 985 5G, WiFi 6, and more

Honor has unveiled a new Android tablet named Honor V6 in China. It is a premium tablet packed with high-end specifications and features including 5G connectivity. The latter makes it only one of the few tablets that are capable of working with 5G networks. It also features support for stylus including Huawei's Magic Pencil.

The Honor V6 sports a 10.4-inch 2K display with (2000 x 1200 pixels) resolution. Even though there are significant bezels, it manages to offer 84% screen-to-body ratio. The choice of processor is HiSilicion Kirin 985 processor which is a 5G capable chipset. The tablet has been released in a single configuration option featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

The camera department includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The back camera also has an LED flash to help users during low-light situations. The whole package is powered by a 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. Other noteworthy features include WiFi 6, USB Type-C port, Magic Pencil, and Bluetooth keyboard support. It will run Android 10 out of the box which is the newest Android version.

Honor has already started taking preorders for Honor V6 but has not revealed complete pricing and availability details yet. We will keep you posted on the same as and when details will be revealed.
