Honor at an event launched the Pad V7, the vanilla version of the previously announced Pad V7 Pro. Being the vanilla version, the tablet picks up some minimum specifications compared to the Pro version. For instance, the display supports 90Hz and not the mighty 120Hz available in the Pro version.

The Honor Pad V7 features a slightly smaller display size at 10.4-inch but gets the same FHD+ resolution. The panel is HDR10-compatible for a more vivid experience. The big change comes under the hood where there is a MediaTek Kompanio 900T processor, which has two ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. The SoC is paired up with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

There is a quad-speaker setup with DTS: X Ultra surround sound. The Honor Pad V7 tablet comes with a 13MP rear camera, while the front holds an 8MP selfie shooter. The tablet will ship with Android 11 with Honor’s in-house MagicUI 5.0 out of the box.

The Honor Tab V7 supports WiFi 6 connectivity, 4G LTE.

The price of the Honor Pad V7 is 1999 yuan ($310) for the 6GB WiFi variant of the device, while the 8GB WiFi version will be priced at 2299 yuan ($355). There is also a 5G-powered Honor Pad V7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that will go on sale for 2,599 yuan ($402). The tablet comes in Blue, Amber Gold, and Titanium Silver color options. It will start selling in China from September 30 onwards.
