HTC yet to officially announce their first flagship of the year which most likely will be announced as U12. However, the device specs listed in an official listing on Open Development. Those who are unaware its a development site owned by Verizon which isn't meant for end users but the listing reveals key details regarding the internal hardware specs of the HTC's upcoming flagship.
The Verizon listing confirms the device is featuring a 6.0-inches Super display with Quad HD+ screen resolution. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo and HTC Sense Companion as a Personal Assistant. A 3,500mAH battery cell is on board to keep its lights on, it also supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 1.0 for fast charging. Like most of the latest flagships, the device is IP68 certified.

Which generation of the Corning Gorilla Glass is used here?
Yeah, no word on that. But I feel it should be the latest version - the Corning Gorilla Glass 5, considering it's the latest flagship which is yet to come out.
