HTC U12+ with Snapdragon 845 SoC and 6GB RAM appears at Geekbench

HTC all set to announce their first flagship of the year U12+ in a dedicated event today. The device is continuously in leaks and rumors that's why most of its details are already out and with each passing day, we have something new regarding the device. Even today ahead of its official launch the U12+ Geekbench listing pops up online which reconfirms few already known specs and also how it performs on single and multi-core tests.

Yesterday the HTC accidentally posted a listing of U12+ on the official website. Later on, we round up all the info we know so far regarding the U12+. Let's have a look today how the device performs on Geekbench testing. The listing confirms the device is powered up by the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB RAM. The RAM is certainly enough to handle all your multitasking tasks without any delay.

On the single-core test, the device achieved 2,407 points whereas on multi-core test the device achieved 8,894 points. The scores are pretty much in line with the latest flagships of this year with Snapdragon 845 chipset. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.0.

From what we know so far the U12+ will be featuring a 6.0-inches Quad HD+ LCD display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. The base variant will have 64GB storage whereas the top of the line variant will have 256GB memory. The rear side is adorned with dual rear cameras of 12MP+16MP. Up front the selfie camera is 8MP. A 3,500mAh battery cell will keep the U12+ lights on.
