08 January 2017 0

HTC slowed down the announcement of next-gen Vive 2 VR headset which was planned to take place at CES 2017. And now they have come up with a new Smartphone under the banner of their VR headsets. A promotional video of the device was somehow leaked and appeared in a recent tweet.

As per the reports, HTC is planning to unveil the device on their First launch event in the New Year which is scheduled for January 12. Anyway, the video shows off the first look of the device. It demonstrates how HTC provides a full phone customization for their Smartphone customers. The company provides several custom designed cases.

But as you can see, the VIVE brand is shown only in one device. Thus we can’t sure whether it is a new device or a new type of case for the HTC smartphones. But there is a small hint in the video showing the specs of a device, which indicates HTC VIVE could be their new smartphones with several amazing cases.

No other details are available about the device such as specifications, price, and availability.Let us wait and see what HTC is planning to release in their upcoming launch event. Share your thoughts in the comments.
