Huawei MatePad 10.4 pre-orders begin | UPD: April 23 launch

UPDATE (April 20th, 2020):

Huawei has finally announced that it will launch MatePad 10.4 tablet on April 23rd. The announcement was made through Weibo suggesting that the launch will be limited to the Chinese market. The tablet is already available for preorders via different Chinese eCommerce platforms like JD.com and VMall. It seems like the launch event will only be a formal announcement that will also include pricing details.

Huawei MatePad 10.4 leaked a couple of days ago and revealed some key details. Now the tablet is available for pre-order ahead of April 23 launch and the listing confirms the specifications which we got to know before. The pre-orders of the Huawei MatePad 10.4 have begun on Vmall in China with a nominal deposit amount of 100 Yuan ($14).

The listing on the e-commerce site confirms that the Huawei MatePad 10.4 features a 10.4-inch IPS LCD panel with 1200x200 pixels resolution. It is powered by Kirin 810 processor with 6GB RAM and built-in storage of up to 128GB.

The Huawei MatePad 10.4 comes with a 7,250mAH battery and it has four speakers. Both the rear and front panel includes 8MP cameras. It offers support for Bluetooth keyboard and M Pen stylus. The tablet comes pre-installed with EMUI 10.1 based Android 10 OS.

The Huawei MatePad 10.4 comes in Wi-Fi only editions, these include 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.

The price of the Huawei MatePad 10.4 is unknown but the launch day is not too far where we will get to know everything about the tablet. The launch will happen on April 23 alongside the launch of the Nova 7 and the MatePad 10.4 will be available from April 26. It will be available in a single Fritillary White color option.
