Huawei has added two new mid-range Android tablets in its MatePad series i.e. MatePad T10 and MatePad T10s. Both of these are exactly the same tablets but with a few differences. The most important thing to note is that these tablets do not come with Google Play Store and Google Mobile Services. Instead, they feature Huawei's AppGallery as the app store and Huawei Mobile Services.
The Huawei MatePad 10 sports a 9.7-inch HD+ (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with thick bezels. Under the hood, it is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710A processor paired with just 2GB of RAM. There are two storage options 16GB and 32GB along with microSD card support up to 512GB for storage expansion.
The tablet has a single 5-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a single 2-megapixel front camera with f/2.4 aperture. It has a 5,100mAh battery to keep the lights on. The good thing is that it is compatible with 10W fast charging. Other features include a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and LTE connectivity. It will run EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 out of the box.
In comparison, the MatePad 10s features a bigger 10.1-inch Full HD+ (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display. The tablet has multiple configuration options with up to 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of onboard storage. These are the changes that make the tablet different from the standard model.
