Huawei launches the Honor 7X with dual cameras and an 18:9 display yesterday just a week after introducing the MediaPad T3 with 4G LTE support. The Chinese smartphone giant has announced an enhanced Honor Router with wider coverage capability and another Honor Router 2 to the lineup of newly launched devices this month.
Though we don’t know much about the latter, the Honor Router features a multi-layer 3-in-1 design which means that the pack of 3 units can be placed across one home that in all function as a single unit. The new Honor Router thus ensures that users no longer need to buy a WiFi amplifier to boost the signal strength of a single router. The router features support for smart network optimisation which will recommend the best position for maximum network coverage.
Though the new router is a plug and play device, it’ll be able to connect and be controlled via an app on a smartphone and also sports 5G support making it reliable for the future. With pre-order starting on October 11, the Honor Router would be available for $137 till it runs out of reservations at Vmall on October 31st. The Honor Router 2 is available for an asking price of $38.
