We have been hearing a lot about LG G7 and what it has to offer especially when we know that it would be rocking Snapdragon 845 SoC that would be offering 30% better results than the previously famous Snapdragon 835. In addition to this, the smartphone would be featuring 18:9 display aspect ration that got popular with Galaxy S8.

Now another information that comes in from a patent by LG revealed that the Korean tech giant is looking forward to incorporating an advance iris scanner into the upcoming LG G7 which help to protect sensitive data on the smartphone in addition to unlocking the phone. Checking via biometric characteristics of an eye and in case it finds out that you are the owner of the app holding sensitive information, it would grant you access. Such a scanner generally works with infrared light through the company has come up with a switch that helps to switch from infrared to regular one.

Other rumors suggest that the much popular smartphone would be coming up in two different variants with one featuring SD845 and another with an OLED panel on premium version.
