LG Display came up with an 18-inch rollable OLED display a couple of years ago and now at the CES 2018 event happening in Las Vegas, the company will be showcasing the upgraded prototype that possesses a huge 65-inch display. Just like its first prototype, the all-new 65-inch OLED display can be bent and rolled up just like a newspaper. The company has clearly managed to scale up the tech and looks like quite brilliantly.
This new 65-inch rollable OLED prototype has a UHD aka 4K resolution. This type of TV doesn’t seem to have a commercial use, at least for now. It is still in its prototype form and won’t land to your homes in near future.
This high-end piece of tech will adorn your living room if it ever comes or in coming years. Rollable displays seem no lesser than a matter of imagination but the South Korean company has made it possible. If it ever comes to your home, it will make an easier storage without requiring the complex transportation.
It’s not coming too soon commercially but those who are present at the CES event happening in Las Vega will witness this glorious and marvelous tech. Not many details are known yet, but we may hear more soon.
