01 June 2018 2

Xiaomi Mi 8 is the latest entrant in this fierce tech world which is already filled with some ferocious flagships. The hardware of Mi 8 matches with many existing flagships. Mi 8 takes the design cues from Apple's iPhone X, but it's not as compact as the latter or to which it copies. Apple iPhone X has a compact design compared to the Mi 8, in fact, compared to any Android flagship listed here. With a 5.8-inch display and 143.6 x 70.9 dimensions, iPhone X easily attracts the buyers but then the price totally hinders it.

LG G7 Thinq also has a relatively larger body than the iPhone X, but the Mi 8 is the largest of all but has the same weight as the iPhone X. So, it's not bulkier, but, it's the Xperia XZ2 that has the heavier profile and the G7 ThinQ is the lighter of all with only 162gms weight.

Talking about its comparison with the Chinese smartphones, the Mi 8 has somewhat smaller width than the Huawei P20 Pro. However, the difference isn't much. The screen size ranges between the 6.1-inch and the 6.28. All of them have a full HD+ resolution. The smaller width of the P20 Pro makes it the compact device than others mentioned here.

Huawei P20 Pro offers the 4,000mAH battery than the others, and Mi 8 offers just 100mAH extra battery than the OnePlus 6 and the Zenfone 5Z.

Camera

Xiaomi Mi 8 also makes its entry to the dual rear camera smartphones category which is already filled with so many champs.
