LG G7 ThinQ is one of the best high-end smartphones of this year. It doesn’t only pack the powerful hardware but also some features that uniquely define its existence. It has a super bright display, DTS:X surround sound with a great speaker, a dedicated Google Assistant that invokes the voice assistant whenever required. It has a solid metal and glass design and includes the wires charging.
LG G7 ThinQ can recognize the objects and different types of scenes and can make adjustments to the camera as necessary. This is how the ThinQ branding helps the device in enhancing its skills.
That’s everything about the traits of the LG G7 ThinQ but how tough it’s from outside? Can it withstand the sudden drops or accidental burns and bends? Well, we can have better answers from the YouTuber JerryRigEverything who has done the durability test on the G7 ThinQ.
The durability test includes scratch, bend, and burn tests that will tell how tough is the LG G7 ThinQ in extreme or light conditions.
The video first shows the scratch test in which the YouTuber checks if the device is able to withstand the scratches. On the Mohs scale of hardness, the LG G7 ThinQ is scratched through various tools. The device started showing the scratches at the level 6. The display and the notch also are covered with the Gorilla Glass 5 so a good protection there. He then scratched the sides of the LG G7 ThinQ which are made of metal and goes on to scratching the back of the phone. The fingerprint scanner received scratches but the submission of the fingerprints didn’t fail.
Surprisingly, the LG G7 ThinQ received no flexes when he bent the phone with a full power. The screen of the device also recovered from the flame test done on it.
After watching the durability test video, you would say that the G7 ThinQ has a stronger build quality. And, with powerful innards and functions, the G7 ThinQ seems to be a complete package for most of the high-end users. Overall, the LG G7 ThinQ very impressively crossed every hurdle of this durability test.

The device tests by JerryRigEverything are so perfectly decoded, it really shows the true side of the smartphone.
Seems like the fingerprint scanner has been well built by LG. Got scratches, still ok.
But looks like the LG G7 ThinQ has to have an ever better body. The bend test fail...!!!???
The Gorilla Glass 5 is what makes the phone durable when it comes to screen test.
