The South Korean giant LG announced new mid-range Q lineup last year. Under the Q series so far the company launched Q6, Q7, and Q8. The first phone was announced in 2016 whereas the other two were unveiled this year. From past few days, rumors are swirling that LG is getting ready to announce new Q9 before the end of this year. Recently an alleged hands-on image of Q9 appears online which suggest it will have a notch at the top of the display.
Later on, we have a report which suggests LG will rebrand the G7 Fit as Q9 for the local market. Today we have a new rumor regarding the hardware specs of the Q9. The details are extracted from the Android official site but as the expected page was removed pretty soon. However, we have the screenshots which reveal few key details regarding the Q9's specs sheet.
As per leaked images, the Q9 will be released in two variants bearing model numbers LM-Q925L and LM-Q925S. The device is featuring a 6.1-inches display. The chipset is accompanied with 4GB RAM and built-in native storage is 32GB and 64GB. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1. The fingerprint scanner is also confirmed. Last but not least the device support NFC as well.
The new leak didn't reveal any details regarding the chipset of the Q9 but most likely the company will opt Snapdragon 600 SoC, now it could be either the Snapdragon 632 or the Snapdragon 660.
