As reported earlier, the South Korean giant LG finally announced the Q9 for the South Korean market. Those who are unaware the Q9 is actually rebranded variant of G7 Fit. Back at the IFA 2018, the G7 Fit was announced for the global market.
The Q9 is featuring a 6.1-inches Full vision display with Quad HD+ screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 19.5:9 and the pixels density is 564 pixels-per-inch. Under the hood the Qualcomm's Octa-core Snapdragon 821 SoC is running the device with 4GB RAM. It comes with 32-bit Hifi Quad DAC for the top-notch audio experience.
Like other LG's top-tier phones it comes with Google Assistant. Unfortunately, it doesn't have dual cameras on the rear side, the rear side has single rear snapper of 16MP with LED flashlight whereas the front-facing selfie camera is 8MP. A 3,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. It is an IP68 certified phone which means it can resist under 1.5 meters deep water for 30 minutes without any damage. Like the G6 it comes with MIL-STD 810G body.
As far as availability and pricing is a concern, the Q9 will be available in three striking colors including Moroccan Blue, Carmine Red and Aurora Black colors from July 11. The device will cost KRW 499,400 in South Korea.
The built-in native storage is 64GB which is further expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD. It has 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port for connectivity and charging. The fingerprint scanner is on the rear side. A 3,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on. The Q9 dimensions are 153.2x71.9x7.9mm.
