The MWC 2019 is just around the corner but that won't stop smartphone manufacturers from unveiling new smartphones. Today the South Korean giant LG took the stage to announce three new budget-friendly phones including LG Q60, K40 and K50 ahead of the MWC 2019. Considering the specs sheet and design all the phones fall in the mid-range category.
Despite being mid-range phones all the devices come with AI CAM which recognizes the objects to capture better-optimized photos. All the devices come with a dedicated physical button to access Google Assistant on the go. Like most of the latest phones, LG K50 and Q60 comes with waterdrop notch design whereas the K40 features thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display.
Another good thing is all the phones come with DTS:X 3D surround audio system, you can expect top-notch audio experience from all the devices. All the devices fingerprint scanner is on the rear side in the center below the camera setup.
The Q60 is the best amongst all not only due to its stylish design but also the triple camera's setup on the rear side. The Q60 features a 6.26-inches FullVision LCD display. The display aspect ratio is 19:9 with HD+ screen resolution. Under the hood, an Octa-core chipset is powering the phone with max clocking at 2Ghz. The Octa-core SoC comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It supports memory expansion via MicroSD up to 2TB.
The Q60 comes with triple cameras on the rear side, the primary snapper is a normal 16MP module, the secondary sensor is 2MP depth-sensing module whereas the third sensor is a super wide-angle 5MP module. Up front the selfie snapper is 13MP. The Q60 measurements are 161.3 x 77 x 8.7mm. As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Pie. A 3,500mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on.
The LG K50 sports a 6.26-inches FullVision display with HD+ screen resolution. The display aspect ratio is 19.5:9. The device is powered up by an Octa-core SoC with max clocking at 2.0Ghz. It also comes with 3GB RAM and built-in native storage is 32GB which can be further expanded using MicroSD.
The K50 comes with dual rear cameras, the primary sensor is 13MP with Phase detection Autofocus whereas the secondary sensor is depth-sensing 2MP. The front-facing selfie snapper is 13MP. The K50 dimensions are 161.3 x 77 x 8.7mm. It also has a 3,500mAh battery.
Last but not least we have the K40. It is smallest amongst all with a 5.7-inches FullVision display. It comes with traditional bezels at the top and bottom of the display. The same Octa-core SoC is powering it like the other two devices. It comes only in one configuration with 2GB RAM and 32GB.
The K40 has single rear snapper of 16MP whereas the front-facing selfie snapper is 8MP. The device dimensions are 153 x 71.9 x 8.3mm. A 3,000mAh battery is on board to keep its lights on.
