LG has started updating the LG G7 One to the latest Android 10 in North America. It is the second LG smartphone to receive the upgrade after LG G8 ThinQ in South Korea earlier this month. This is kind of an odd occurrence as LG is yet to upgrade its newest flagships at a bigger scale but not a surprising move by any means.
The LG G7 One is an Android One smartphone from last year which means it runs stock Android instead of custom skin. This makes it easier to release the update but considering the whole point of the program, even this rollout should have happened earlier. Nevertheless, the rollout has begun and you should be receiving an update notification soon enough.
As per screenshots shared by users on Twitter, the LG G7 One Android 10 update weighs about 742MB in size. It means a WiFi connection is recommended for downloading the update. LG has further advised users to ensure at least 40% battery level on their units before starting the installation process.
