LG is one of those OEMs that are globally established and yet are slow at releasing software updates. Its software situation has been the same for years, no matter even if you own an LG flagship. This is the reason most LG users are still waiting for Android 10 upgrade but thankfully, we at least have an official update release schedule.
The update timeline has been released by LG Italy suggesting that it should at least be on point for Italian customers. We are expecting the update rollout to be more or less similar for global users. Nevertheless, we will keep you updated if LG goes on to offer different timelines for different markets.
LG Android 10 update schedule:
All these devices will receive the new LG UX 9.0 based on Android 10. It is worth noting that LG has already kicked off Android 10 beta testing for LG G8 ThinQ and LG V50 ThinQ smartphones. These devices should receive stable updates anytime soon. For all other devices mentioned in the list, you should keep an eye on the mentioned timeline but do keep in mind that it is LG and it can delay the release even beyond the schedule.
