The Nokia X/X6 has been one of most mysterious smartphones in the sense that very little was actually revealed about the smartphone. There was a time we weren’t even sure about the name of the device. However, over time leaks have revealed quite a lot about the smartphone. It seems like that wasn’t enough as a new leak has surfaced, revealing all we need to know about the device just hours before its official release. The new leak contains images and reveals its key specifications as well as price.
As expected and keeping in line with previous leaks, the new renders suggest that the Nokia X6 will have a notched display, a feature found on most smartphones of 2018. However, the phone does seem to have quite a thick bottom bezel with its Nokia branding. If this leak is to be believed, the Nokia X6 will have a 5.8-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and an FHD+ resolution. The glass back has a vertical alignment of dual-rear cameras with a fingerprint scanner placed below them. So, what internals does the Nokia X6 house?
Powering the Nokia X6 is the Snapdragon 636 SoC. The dual-rear cameras consist of 16MP and 5MP sensors. The front-facing selfie shooter is a 16MP camera with intelligent 3D blur and beauty filters. Supposedly, the front-facing camera has been well optimized to work well even in low-light conditions.
The Nokia X6 will have a 3,060mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, allowing the device to charge extremely fast up to 50% capacity. The device will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and is priced at 1,449 Yuan (approximately $234). Rumour has it that there might be a 6GB RAM variant but nothing is confirmed as of yet. The Nokia X6 will be launched on May 16th and is expected to start shipping on May 21st.
