The Nokia X6, one of the most secretive and anticipated smartphones of 2018 launched in the month of May. The Nokia X6 is the company’s very first smartphone to sport a notched display; a feature which some love and some hate, but one which no one can ignore. The smartphone was initially only launched for the Chinese market, however, demand for it grew far and wide. This led HMD Global to claim that the device would get a global launch.

However, details regarding that have been scarce with the only ray of light being a global variant spotted receiving certification in Taiwan. Well, it seems like India will be getting the Nokia X6 as a support page for the device now appears on Nokia India’s official website.

There’s even a user guide for the device in question on the website stating that the device adheres to the rules set by DoT in India. Here’s what it says:

Your mobile device is also designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves established by the India Department of Telecommunications. These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue.

Given the fact that it’s made its way on Nokia India’s official website, it’s safe to say that details regarding pricing and availability are just around the corner!
