Nubia Red Magic Gaming smartphone may come to India in October

21 September 2018 0

The Nubia Red Magic smartphone is making the rounds online ever since its launch in April this year. The device is marketed as a gaming-oriented smartphone and boasts of quite stellar performance. Unfortunately, the Nubia Red Magic is only available in China and is still waiting for a global release. However, a report from TheMobileIndian claims that the smartphone will be making its way to India in October.

This is bound to send a tidal wave throughout the Indian smartphone market as the device will be introduced in the Indian market and a sub Rs 30,000 phone. This would make Nubia the first to actually bring a gaming smartphone to the Indian market. While other companies like Asus, Razer, and Xiaomi have gaming smartphones, none of them have made it to India. The entire look of the phone with its black and red coating will definitely appeal to most gamers. The hexagonal-shaped rear-camera and fingerprint sensor definitely add a unique and ingenious touch to the device.

Unfortunately, the device doesn’t come with the highest end Snapdragon chipset, but with the last generation Snapdragon 835 SoC. It sports a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2160p. The device packs quite a punch with its 6GB of RAM, coupled with this is 64GB of internal storage. In terms of its camera, it features a 24MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter. The Nubia Red magic is fueled by a 3,800mAh battery and runs on Android Oreo, v8.1. If you happen to live in India and are looking towards purchasing a gaming smartphone for under Rs 30,000, the Nubia Red Magic is definitely worth more than just a thought!
