Huawei Band 3 Pro, Band 3e now available for purchase in the US

09 November 2018 3

A good news for Huawei fans in the US as the Chinese giant is now offering two latest fitness bands. Despite the fact, the US government didn't allow Huawei to sell their phones but the company is yet not ready to leave the country without any footprint. Huawei is amongst the top five wearable companies in the world along with Xiaomi and Apple. The company unveiled Band 3 Pro alongside the flagships Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. For the US customers, the Band 3 Pro is available at a price tag of $69.

Despite being one of the best new fitness trackers the Band 3 Pro emerge as one of the cheapest fitness trackers in the market. Another good thing is Huawei ensures the new Bands are up for sale in the US ahead of holiday season.

The Band 3 Pro is running the company's own Lite OS. It's quite unfortunate that Huawei isn't offering Watch GT for the US buyers. Being the fitness tracker it brings all goodies like metering workouts, calories burned, steps and sleeping. The OLED display showcases notifications only from a few apps. As far as battery life is a concern, the company claims it last 12 days on a single charge. The Band comes with 5ATM ratings which means you can utilize it during swimming.

For those who are looking for an entry-level tracking band, the Band 3e will certainly attract them. It brings support for phone alerts, motion tracking, and sleep monitoring. It isn't a band instead its a detachable fitness tracker. As far as availability is a concern the Band 3 Pro is up for sale from Amazon. It can be purchased in blue, gold and black colors. The Band 3e can be purchased at a price tag of $29.99 in Pink or Black color. Both the Bands support Android and iOS phones.

  • The existence of Huawei in the US market will give them more breathing space to keep themselves in the in the wearable companies in the world. And these two new launches will help strengthen.

      • I'm currently using the Mi Band 3 for about 2K in the Indian market. More or less the same Huawei Band 3 Pro is slightly costlier at about $30. Didn't go in deep comparison. But the Mi Band 3 looks better organized.

        • Just a technical clarification here - the US administration banned Huawei phones only and not the smart wearables. Is that right?
