14 November 2018 4

A good news for Vivo fans in India, the company's latest mid-ranger Y83 Pro gets first price cut. Back in August the Y83 Pro debut in the Indian market at a price tag of 15,990. Now the company is offering a permanent price cut of INR 1000. Now you can grab the Y83 Pro for as low as INR 14,990. The good thing is you can grab the device from offline retailers as well as Amazon at a discounted price tag. However the Y83 Pro is still being offered at the old price tag on Flipkart, we can expect the retailer will update the pricing pretty soon.

In terms of specs, the Vivo Y83 is featuring a 6.22-inches display with HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The display aspect ratio is 19:9 due to waterdrop notch at the top. The MediaTek Octa-core Helio P22 chipset is powering the device with 4GB RAM and built-in native storage is 64GB which is further expandable via MicroSD.

As OS the device is pre-installed with Android Oreo 8.1 with Vivo's custom UI skin over it. The primary rear snapper is 13MP whereas the secondary rear sensor is a depth-sensing 2MP module. On the front, you will find 8MP AI tuned selfie snapper. A 3,260mAH battery is on board to keep its lights on.
